We had a great stay -- the hotel is rather unique in that it's actually several townhouses that are connected and then redone as rooms. Our room was delightfully decorated fitting of the boutique hotel status, with a huge bathroom and large, comfortable bed. The hotel staff were communicative and helpful, both before our stay, messaging over booking.com, at reception, and while there. We were celebrating a special occasion, and had a nice surprise welcoming us in the room, which we appreciated. We also ordered room service from the restaurant (always a nice treat at hotels that offer it) and this hit the spot -- there was good variety, the food was high quality, and the ambiance and experience quickly made us feel at home.
Lastly, it was our first time in Glasgow and as travelers without a car, we weren't quite sure where to stay. This spot worked out quite well -- the area is nice, and the university area (around Byres road), with more shops and cafes and such, is just a 10 minute walk, or a shorter bus ride. The bus stop is also right outside and very convenient, and that or the train provide quick transit access through the city. Overall, this worked out very well for us -- we had comfortable accommodations, tasty food, and great service. Would recommend to others.

In the old part of Glasgow, next door to the Glasgow Cathedral, this 19th century, Scottish Baronial-style building has been beautifully converted into a unique 8-bedroom hotel.

Our one bedroom apartment had a small kitchen and a good sitting area. We loved that there are laundry facilities in the building. A good location right in Merchant City near good transit links and a 10 minute walk to the train station.
The location was great, short walk from Queen St station and near Merchant City, Buchanan Street, Glasgow Green, and Cathedral/Necropolis. There's lots to see right nearby and plenty of options for food and coffee, but in the Candleriggs square things were pretty quiet. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable, and the lobby area was very nice with lots of seating, if you're inclined.
Exquisite 2 bedroom apartment in Merchant City, this spacious flat is walking distance from every interesting landmark in downtown Glasgow (notably the Cathedral, George Square, the various stations, the Clyde river etc.).
We were very happy about the cleanliness, the very complete equipment in the kitchen, the comfort in the rooms.
We also booked a parking space in the building’s protected parking lot, which was very convenient.
