We were particularly impressed with the welcome, attitude and service from the young group of staff. It seems to be quite a feature of this property and they all work hard to maintain the standard. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and the quality of the food was high. The breakfast was excellent too. Bramley toiletries in the room were a nice luxury. The property is nicely situated in Melbourne (although the road was quite busy) opposite Melbourne Hall and lake which is nice to walk around.
Our room was really very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Great nights sleep in the huge bed! Staff were great! Food was good too. Location fab for Donnington race circuit (BTCC) and lots to see and do on the doorstep. Melbourne hall well worth paying to look round the gardens.

Central location perfect for visit to Melbourne Hall.
The apartment we stayed in was extremely lovely. Great decor, modern, clean and comfortable.great bed. Being in the middle of Melbourne was a perfect location, amazing places to eat out. Beautiful walks in the area too. Melbourne Hall is worth a visit, great view at the mill pond. Icing on the cake we actually spoke to Johnny Vegas on his field of dreams, which was our inspiration to visit this stunning village National trust Calle Abbey a short drive away too. Incredible place to visit as well.
Loved the cottage and perfect for a 2 night stay. We parked right outside the property, easy walk to shops and great pubs. We did a lovely country walk around the lake next to Melbourne Hall. We Didn’t need to drive for two days! The cottage is converted to a high standard and extremely well equipped. We loved the crazy art too!
Everything was great, location and accommodation were perfect. Just out of the property one way was the village and all it’s shops and pubs, the other way were amazing walks through Melbourne hall / pool estates.
A warm welcome and a lovely cosy room. comfortable bed and a great night’s sleep. I can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t have it. A short walk into Melbourne and across the road from the church and Melbourne Hall.
