Excellent location close to shops bars restaurants and of course the cathedral.the hotel itself has really nice decor and has a real cosy feeling to it and the cocktails in the bar are excellent,great room and shower and a great view of the cathedral and the breakfast was really good.

The staff were all excellent: friendly, courteous, helpful and efficient. Dinner and breakfast were both superb as they have been on previous visits. Very comfortable bedroom and tasteful decor. Great for free parking with a hotel permit (when available). Will definitely return.

Everything. Our room even had a view of brayford wharf. Soo Christmassy. The room was large and warm and had a nice clean bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast was cooked perfect with quality ingredients and lots of continental if wanted. Fresh fruit everyday too.
Holiday Inn Express Lincoln City Center is directly opposite Lincoln University. Private on-site parking is available, and Lincoln Central Railway Station can be reached in a 10-minute walk.

Visited as going to a concert at Lincoln Castle. Everything was perfect. Location was near the centre of Lincoln and a 5 minute walk to the castle. Room was lovely. Service was great. Check in quick. Breakfast nice. And the car cleaning kit was a nice touch (and needed). Will definitely stay again.

I love everything about the apartment and the location. It was just a 2-minute walk to the Lincoln Castle. I was welcomed with a bottle of champagne and cakes. Everything was perfect. And yes, aside from the smart TV, there was a DVD with an array of movies to choose from, which brought back some nostalgic memories for me.
Right next to the wall of Lincoln Castle, this hotel is also a mere five minutes walk away from Lincoln Cathedral. The area between the cathedral and the castle was a new part of Lincoln for me, and I found it just as fine as the better known hillside part of the town. The room we stayed in, right under the roof, had the kind of nooks, crannies, and beams that my wife and I both love, and was a delight architecturally speaking. Staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean and very comfortable.
The staff were wonderful! The food was exceptional and the facilities were light, clean and pleasant in every respect. The hotel was a short walk to the two places I came to see: Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle. I recommend the Tower Hotel unreservedly.
Staff, while they could not find our booking, did everything they could to resolve the issue. The accommodation they provided was large and very well located (Right next to the Cathedral and Lincoln Castle). It would suit a large group but the limitation of a single bathroom needs to be taken in to account when booking. Has a great lounge area and kitchen with a large (could seat 10 + people easily) dining table. Great for parties (If the accommodation allows it).
