Was disappointed.
Was disappointed. Castle has never been an old Castle But having revisited is ruined I’ve updated it. You don’t go to end past the seller and the rooms are just too not looking right. I wouldn’t visit Castle again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s a great same.

The weather was against us when we visited the castle and although the room was lovely, the bed was not the most comfortable, which did mar our visit slightly. The castle and grounds are lovely and the restaurant for breakfast and the evening meal was also very good. The only downside to our visit, apart from the weather and the bed!, was that we arrived fairly early and was not allowed access into the castle as it opened later, the restaurant was also closed so we could not have something to eat there while we waited and we were unable to book into the room early, which was a shame considering the weather (not the castles fault obviously!). But overall, this is a nice place to visit and it is magical to stay on the grounds.

The location was so beautiful as were the rooms. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that the price of the bnb accommodation also included access to Leeds Castle. The restaurant was very good with views of the castle and the grounds were beautiful too. We had a lovely time here.
We loved Leeds Castle! Our upgrade to the Maidens Tower made it even more special. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. Will definitely recommend this as a stopover to family and friends.
Fabulous, great staff who go above and beyond expectations even brought left items to Leeds Castle for a wedding. Lovely traditional pub. Great sized family rooms, views stunning. Beds Very Very Comfy. Would seriously recommend. Will go again.
The location to Leeds castle was only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and polite. The chef made us up a hamper to take to the concert, which was amazing.

The Great Danes Hotel is not the luxury experience it once was, but it is still very picturesque, with ample free parking, good internet, a decent pool/ gym and an outstanding breakfast. Also very close to the Motorways and attractions such as Leeds Castle.

We had apartment number 34. Nice apartment with small but well equipped kitchen, dish washer, over, toaster, fridge / freezer. First bedroom with on suite which was roomy and good size. Second toilet and shower room OK reasonable size. Balcony was great looking out to the grounds in front of the building. Well looked after with spacious living room with nice TV should you want to turn it on. Location great for us as we visited Hever Castle and Leeds castle over the weekend
