The room was nice, very clean, lots of room and the bathroom was spacious. The buffet breakfast was good and the sandwiches we had at lunchtime were very nice.
The Bay Horse is convenient for Haydock Racecourse, the M6, local train stations, and it is 16 km from Manchester's Trafford Centre. It offers free unlimited WiFi.

Staff were friendly, arrived about 15 mins before the kitchen closed, the staff let us know, so we had a nice soup and warm baguette. The locals were friendly and the rooms were small but adequate, clean and presented well. Would stay again. Was quiet and we slept really well, bed was super comfy. Shower was good. We had to depart early for work so we didn't get to sample breakfast.

The hotel was extremely clean. The staff are a credit to the hotel, friendly and helpful. Dinner was tasty and the hotel is perfectly situated for the DW stadium and the town centre.
Local host who really cared about our comfort and stay. Good immediate communication. One thing was missing and it was supplied to us within half an hour.

We stayed at the hotel when attending an evening game at the DW Stadium, and it was ideal for this, including the opportunity to grab a meal before the match and have a drink in the bar afterwards. The room was spotless, the bed was firm but comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful and clearly took a pride in their work. There was a good choice of drinks at the bar and everything was good value.
An exceptionally clean, modern, well appointed and spacious apartment. All facilities and equipment are in place to make this a real home from home.
Excellent communication from the property before and during our stay, and the breakfast provisions that were included all made for an excellent stay.
Excellent location for shops, restaurants, take-aways and Robin Park Leisure Centre / DW Stadium.

The lad behind bar was absolutely brilliant, alway helping, we stayed one night, room was ok for price, it clean, toilet and shower clean, ever had shower gel, bed was comfortable. TV had great selection of channels, A very short walk to town centre, a few pubs around the area. We got taxi to rugby match at dw stadium from town centre cost us £6. Walked back took 30 mins.
