A very warm welcome as soon as we walked in. all the staff were amazing, each and every one staff member. from breakfast to dinner in the evening.
Check in was easy and everything explained.
The room we had (room 1) was excellent in size,, comfort and style. a beautiful Rover Room view.
Bed was comfy and large, pillows a little too flat but 2 were too much, so personal preference there.
The pub itself, was very welcoming, comfy and such a good space for dining whether its breakfast lunch or dinner. spoilt for a good view for sure.
Specials board and a great menu to choose from with plenty of choice. A great choice of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Can't really fault our stay at all, great venue to celebrate my Husbands 50th birthday. Nice relaxation amd chill time.
Thank you, I know we will be back to visit.
All the best. xx

We stayed at the Tontine Hotel, great location right in the town, but that was about it.
We went for our 49th Wedding Anniversary we were looking forward to celebrating and going to the 40s themed weekend at the same time.
When we arrived a young girl gave us our key and said we were on the top floor in room number 11, she never asked if we could manage our luggage we had four flights of stairs to go up, I am 68yrs old my husband 70yrs old. There was no numbers on any doors, we managed to find ours because someone had wrote number 11 in pencil on the door.
When we got in the room which had a double bed and two singles so was for a family room. It smelled musty and felt damp it seemed like no one had been in the room for an age.
Had an ensuite shower room which we closed off and never used it was disgusting, there was a bigger bathroom not much better, had only one handle on the bath to get in and out, the shower screen had mould all over it, there was no shelving to put any of your things on.
In the bedroom there was no mirror how you are suppose to do your hair I don't know, all the plugs were floor level and behind furniture which you had to move to plug anything in.
The most thing that bothered both of us the most was there was no fire regulations on the wall, I thought this was Mandatory, no emergency numbers in case you are ill. The other thing that bothered us was the cold we had to take the duvet off the small beds and put on ours to keep warm. When I mentioned this the next day to three men at the reception desk, they said I should have come down four flights of stairs and back up again to ask them to put the heating on, one of the men was quite abrupt I did not like they way he spoke to me.
It was advertised has an Executive Queen Room, I did not see anything Executive about that room. We paid £380 for 3 nights, we left after two nights.

Pretty around the ironbridge gorge.
Pretty around the ironbridge gorge. The tile museum that's nearby is worth a visit. (We had tickets that included multiple attractions, but be aware they aren't all within walking distance, you definitely need to take a drive!)

the location of the hotel is very good for exploring the museums of the Ironbridge gorge and is in easy walking distance of the Ironbridge itself. Good onsite parking is available.
The evening meals were very good as were the breakfasts, self service cereals and hot food to order with friendly helpful staff.
The house is in a lovely quiet area about a 10 minute drive from the Ironbridge Gorge. Marian and Dave are very pleasant, welcoming people with a lovely home and garden area. All in all lovely stay, great breakfast, beds comfortable with a modern take on the decor.
The accommodation was exactly as described and had everything we needed, including a parking permit. The hosts struck an excellent balance between being available to help without seeming intrusive.
Ironbridge Gorge is a fascinating area; we didn't use our car once during the week. There are numerous enjoyable local walks, many of which can incorporate the various interesting museums scattered around the area (we did all of the following https://www.severngorge.org.uk/walking-leaflets/).
A warm welcome from the two ladies who greeted me.
The room was comfortable and pleasant.
Very lovely bed.
Beautiful bird song from outside in the morning, followed by breakfast included just a couple of doors down at their sister hotel, which was a lovely English breakfast which they were able to make vegan for me. Really lovely staff here too.
The location was fantastic, right by the river and lots of walking available as well as the Ironbridge gorge museums.
Would stay again!
Immaculate accommodation with amazing views over the Ironbridge Gorge.
Julie, the owner, was excellent: thoughtful, accommodating and had lots of suggestions for places to eat and visit.
Just a few hundred metres from the Iron Bridge itself, so well within walking distance of several of the main Ironbridge Gorge attractions. It's an older property, so maybe not for you if you like something shiny and modern. Adequate breakfast
All good, it's a building older than the Ironbridge and Free Bridge at Jackfield so the doorways can be a little low if you're 6 foot plus. Breakfast was great and cooked to order, great for access to the Ironbridge Gorge, the tile museum is ¼ mile away and the walk along route 45 to Bridgnorth is flat over its 8 mile distance. The Half Moon pub, 10 mins away, is well worth a visit.
Victoria was a perfect host, so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfasts are delicious. The villa is an old gothic style mansion house wonderfully decorated in keeping with its history and tradition. Located in a wonderful quiet lane aptly named Paradise! We found it very romantic and super convenient for for the Ironbridge Gorge and its literally world changing history.
Location was perfect as we were visiting the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. 1 min walk to local pub and the high street which has all the shops needed. Very quiet and peaceful. Had a lovely short break.
Nice breakfast and really lovely staff. Very helpful at all times. Hotel itself very interesting and in a good location for exploring Ironbridge gorge.
