The road in is not for the faint of heart - it is 10 miles of single track for the most part, up and down, twists and turns. But it is totally worth it. Taychreggan is gorgeous, in the most gorgeous location ever. It is super pet friendly. It is location directly on the loch an surrounded by hills and mountains. I wanted to stay there forever. The food, in their AA rosette-awarded restaurant, is superb. They have a separate bar with fireplace and several lounges, all with stunning views. The location is quiet and serene. The staff is great, and kudos to Ivan, who assisted us with our auto's flat tire and with the rental car staff; he told them off, saying it was totally their fault as the tires were bald and should never have been rented like that!

The hotel and surroundings are beautiful and have visited many times. The leisure facilities are wonderful the staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming.

the location is breathtaking. the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly James and Thomas who led the archery and axe throwing sessions and the waitress in the restaurant who covered breakfast while we were there who was very pleasant. The food in the restaurant was very good and great value.

This castle is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. It featured in an episode of Downton Abbey. Queen Victoria's daughter, Princess Louise, married into the family who own the castle, and there is information about her life there. The castle is located right in the township of Inverary.

Every attempt has been made at this hotel to provide for guests’ comfort. The staff were welcome, cheerful and as helpful as could be. The menu in the dining room was varied and delicious with a complete wine selection. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable and the hotel’s proximity to Inveraray Castle made it an ideal accommodation for exploration of the Campbell clan’s ancestral home.
The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, we came back and bought their Apple Strudel before leaving town and it was the best I have ever had. (way better than my mother-in-laws ;) ) We booked the garden suite and were very pleased. It was clean quiet and very comfortable. I was comfortable enough to not wear shoes when in the room. The location was a easy walk to Inveraray Castle.
What a lovely spot wish we would have stayed an extra night. The hotel had lots of history and charm and the rooms were completely updated and modern. The restaurant and bar area were great and the staff were very accommodating. It was close to town with shops & restaurants, as well as to Inveraray Castle. We didn't get to use the spa, it did look awesome, but hopefully on our next trip.
