The apartment was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were large with lovely furnishings. The sitting area and kitchen were good, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast at their restaurant was also good.

Very warm friendly staff and so much attention to detail on the boat, beautifully designed, it really was the star of the weekend. Fun and relaxed while at the same time a bygone elegance of the 20's and 30's.

Holyrood Park
The vast, green expanse of Holyrood Park is best experienced from Arthur’s Seat, the park’s craggy peak and a long-dormant volcano. As you make your way up the winding paths, you’ll take in the delicate remains of the 15th-century St Anthony’s Chapel as well as the ruins of four 2,000-year-old hill forts.

We loved it here but we were really just walking through on our way to the Castle. Next time we go I would like to spend more time here. So lovely. Lots of benches to sit at. Beautiful views. Coffee shop for refreshments. Long queues though.

A must to visit if you have the time.
A must to visit if you have the time. A large area to chill out in and explore. When we lived in Edinburgh, we used to go there a lot with our young family. The energetic can go to the top of 'Arthur's Seat' for panoramic city views, or just go feed the ducks at the other end of the park.

When visiting the Park it is worth following the path around Holyrood, albeit it is 3.3 miles long, and one side is far steeper, but shorter than the other side, but the views of the City, from the top and side, and on clear days, Portobello harbour, the Firth of Forth, as well as the Rail and Road Bridges at Queensferry, is well worth the effort, and of course exercise!

Iain’s apartment was perfect for our stay. The location is within walking distance to everything and the apartment is very comfortable. The small little touches such as fresh food and treats on arrival were very much appreciated.
We loved getting up each morning and going for a walk across Holyrood park with our 2 year old, it’s literally across the street!
If we’re in Edinburgh again this will definitely be our first choice for accommodation.
Thank you Iain!
Really good location. Good view of Holyrood park from the windows. Short walk to the city and shops. Apartment is well presented, bright and very clean. Temperature indoors just right. The fresh fruit, biscuits and tea and coffee were welcome.
Friendly welcome from Abe. Quiet room, small but with all basic facilities. Useful to have a desk and chair as I needed to work, wi-fi was fine including for an online meeting. Remarkably cheap for so close to Edinburgh city centre - weather was pleasant so I walked through Holyrood Park, but there are plenty of buses too.
The student hotel corresponds to the description read above. Great location! Bus stop almost at the door! The vast Holyrood Park just beyond the railway and the spectacular view of Arthur's Seat! The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the staff at the reception are nice! In the kitchen, everything you need for cooking; we only used the opportunity to boil water for coffee. We remembered our student years! I recommend!
