We been fortunate to have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world and I can confidently say that Milestone Hotel Kensington has been our best stay. The hotel itself is simply marvelous with old world charm and elegance lacking in corporate hotels today. What sets the hotel apart is the service and staff. We felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. Staff member Denise (special thanks) even cleaned our stroller every night when we came back to the hotel. Walk across the street to Hyde park and visit Kensington palace and Diana’s memorial playground were special treats. Excellent Service and Staff, ultra comfortable rooms, central air, quiet, beautiful building, art throughout, antique furniture, location was fantastic, breakfast and drink services superb. Great for family and very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we will see you again next time we are in London.

Harrods
Department stores don’t come more luxurious than Harrods. Set in an ornate 19th-century building in glitzy Knightsbridge, this shopping emporium features a million square feet of retail space. You can enlist the services of gift concierges, peruse the gilded Egyptian-style clothing room or even buy bars of gold! Then there’s the quaint food hall, where afternoon tea is a must-try tradition.

A great place to visit just so you can say you've been.
A great place to visit just so you can say you've been. Souvenirs are extremely expensive particularly for us Aussies who have a pretty terrible exchange rate currently. Lovely piece of history, but in reality just about everything in the shape is well and truly out of the 'ordinary' person's price range.

I have not been in this place for a long time as every time I did go, the staff seem to make you feel less than anything lower than a pleb. They look at you up & down & won't offer service. I found one older lady who works on the lower floor who was so nice & disgusted when I told her how I felt the other staff members treated me. It wasn't just one time either, I tried going in to that place about 4-5 times with the same experience so I vowed never to return. It doesn't stop me from buying a Harrods Teddy every time I leave the airport though :-)

My grand daughters [11 and 9] love visiting Harrods to gawp at everything, , and the food halls are no where near as expensive as you would expect. Often on a par with other outlets. We pick up our pic-nic here before heading to Kensington Park, there are always offers on in the chocolate hall. Take time to look at the splendid tiles in the food halls too!

Now Harrods is a must it’s old huge iconic building, which was once owned by Fyad , whose son Dodie, along with princess Dianna met their deaths in a Paris car crash. Fyad then sold the store. The store itself is vast and has expensive beautiful goods, where you can purchase most of yr designer wear and exclusive named cosmetics. Most elites royals ECT shop here. Well worth a visit even if you don’t want to spend, it is an experience in itself.

location was great next to Harrods and tube station on quite street but sometimes you can hear the noise from main street. Room was very clean with all supply. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
The apartment’s location was fantastic, being within walking distance of Soho, Oxford Street, Selfridges, harrods ,and Hyde Park. This made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and enjoying outdoor activities. We loved how central it was, with easy access to public transportation and major attractions.
The Hotel was beautiful! The neighborhood was so perfect, close to the South Kensington Tube Station, The Natural History Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Victoria and Albert Museum, Harrods and more. The room had wonderful decor and super comfortable beds!!
Excellent location: walking distance to Hyde Park, Harvey Nichols, Harrods, the Tube, buses, and some great restauranta.
Staff were friendly and courteous.
Room was well designed with a large comfortable couch, great desk, plenty of drawers and closet space, fridge, coffee-making facilities,
And a great view over London!
The apartment was very clean and tidy, the location is absolutely perfect just off Hyde park and Oxford Street. About 15 walking to Harrods. The rooms are spacious, one is master room, Also the living room spacious . The Kitchen is small but well equipped. We were mostly outside so we didn’t use the kitchen. Riz was very nice and tried to help as much as she can. The furniture is very comfortable. I would comeback again if they fix the air conditioner. Specially if they lower the deposit amount as it was very high.
The room was nice and was clean. The location was great! The street in front of the hotel was all high-end shops and at the back of the hotel less than 2 blocks away is Harrods. The staff were very helpful and attentive.
