I took my parents there for a 2 night stay. The rooms were perfect! They had such a calm, serene but modern feel about them. Lovely decor, very comfy beds, fresh milk in the fridge! (Definite winner that!). We had great weather so we were able to sit out on the balcony looking at the wonderful view. Lots of choice for breakfast and it was delicious. The staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. My parents and I absolutely loved our stay here and we didn't want to leave.

Gorgeous little pub, with really friendly staff and a lovely little restaurant. The food was beautiful. Bedroom was very quiet, and a good size. It is really close to Hardwick Hall and Matlock. We stayed with our dog, and would absolutely stay again.
Very convenient location for visiting Hardwick Hall, which was the main purpose of our trip. Large car park. Good selection of drinks in the bar. Reasonably priced food well cooked.
