There was a market there the day we were there - lots of very different vendors - food, ceramics, wood carvings. We bought several items and had lunch at a restaurant nearby. Also went to Grayfriars churchyard, where Greayfrairs Bobby is buried.

Amazing Location in Grassmarket, We had 4 adults and 2 kids and felt like we had plenty of room. You really get to experience Edenborough, the Grassmarket has amazing history, great food and history. We jumped on the hop on hop off bus from only 100m away and walked up some stairs directly to Edenborough castle. The lift was great, gated apartment so very secure. Couldn't recommend more.

Ideal location for exploring Edinburgh, close to Edinburgh Castle. The view from the window of the castle was amazing. The Grassmarket area has a great vibe with live music in some of the bars. Great choice of places to eat and drink. Lovely shops and gifts. The studio is well equipped. The bed linen and towels smelt nice, clean and fresh. The host, David, goes above and beyond with free gifts for your arrival, this was very kind and unexpected. In all, our 25th wedding anniversary was very enjoyable.
