Everything was “pretty good” but not up to the standard I would expect and not up to the price charged. The scotch was good (but it’s good everywhere) and the lounge was good. But charges were weird… i paid by handing them a credit card instead of charging it to my room.

The breakfast was good, the bathroom seemed recently remodeled and there was a stop for the hop on-off bus just a block away. Very close to Glasgow University.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was large. We had a family room, and it was very nice having my own bed rather than sharing a full bed. Also, the location was excellent. Beautiful neighborhood. Very close walk to the park or to lots of eateries.
