A very comfortable short stay at Minerva, this guest house is spotlessly clean and perfectly situated, close to the sea and the town, easy walking to both.
Margaret is very welcoming and we appreciated the bottle of Prosecco there to greet us on arrival. Breakfast is delicious and caters for every taste.
We’d happily come back here if staying in Newquay again.

First and foremost the staff were amazing! This is a small hotel and a little dated but the view is spectacular and the spa staff really wonderful! The rooms need some updating and the pillows were terrible but I actually had an amazing time because it was quiet and the personal service was great - right down to the maid service.

The location of the hotel was very good. Right next to fistral beach. The hotel was clean and looked very nice. Staff were friendly, even one of the cleaners said hello in the middle of the town as she was walking home after her shift. The hotel pool was very nice and clean (could be a tad warmer but that's just personal preference). Breakfast was really nice and made better with a sea view. I will definitely be visiting again.
The location is excellent just a few minutes walking down to fistral beach. The food was excellent. The view from the bar and restaurant was the best. I enjoyed my stay.
A wonderful apartment, so comfortable and spacious with everything you ever need for a week's break... the terrace was superb, unfortunately due to the weather was only able to use on a couple of occasions but it did get us out and about with 5 days of tripping and exploring the town. Fistral beach nearby was absolutely amazing. Annabelle was on hand at all times if ever needed anything, so lovely, friendly and accomodating... would love to go back in a heatwave as that terrace has got our names written all over it!!
