A very comfortable short stay at Minerva, this guest house is spotlessly clean and perfectly situated, close to the sea and the town, easy walking to both.
Margaret is very welcoming and we appreciated the bottle of Prosecco there to greet us on arrival. Breakfast is delicious and caters for every taste.
We’d happily come back here if staying in Newquay again.

First and foremost the staff were amazing! This is a small hotel and a little dated but the view is spectacular and the spa staff really wonderful! The rooms need some updating and the pillows were terrible but I actually had an amazing time because it was quiet and the personal service was great - right down to the maid service.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Loved the colour scheme in the room and the bathroom and the nice little touches like the variety of quality teas. I was surprised to see the other reviewers complaining about the beds as I found the bed very cosy and comfortable, in fact leaving it was quite a struggle in the morning!

Newquay is an ideal holiday destination for all age groups. The local beaches are a massive attraction regardless of the weather. It's the first "dog-tolerant" town I have ever visited. Dog owners in Newquay are responsible owners.

Great choice of attractions, such as the Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium, plus the Lighthouse Cinema and Land Theatre. A short distance away is the National Trust property, Trerice and a little further Lanhydrock, both well worth a visit. We would also recommend a trip to the Eden Project just beyond St. Austell which is a powerhouse of environmental education!

All the staff that we encountered from the receptionist, cleaning staff and restaurant staff were all really friendly and helpful. The spa facilities were amazing and the view from the hot tub is beautiful. Our room was really comfy and clean and again the view was incredible. We had a sea view and got to watch the new year firework display from our room. Will definitely recommend and would 100% return. Thankyou to all the staff at atlantic hotel newquay for a wonderful stay
We had an amazing time at the Minerva guest house. The location was fantastic as was right on the beach whilst also being in the centre of Newquay city centre. The room was really lovely, clean and large with the most amazing shower. i really liked that the TVs in the bedrooms had access to Netflix and YouTube. My children loved the bunk beds in their room too.

Staff were efficient and friendly. Ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Very enjoyable. Room good too. We were there on a Saturday night when Newquay likes to party, so it was not as quiet as it may otherwise have been.
Comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast. Loved the pool. Easy parking. I felt the hotel has a charm and full of character. Good position in the centre of Newquay.
Significantly cheaper than any other hotel i could find in Newquay but still very clean, well presented and comfortable. No problems with my arriving after midnight.
