This was our second stay here, on this occasion we upgraded to the Deluxe Double room with comes with a bathroom that was just as big as the bedroom. The bed is big and comfy with nicely pressed and fresh bed covers. A tray with a selection of teas and coffee were available, along with a couple of small bottles of water. There is a safe in the wardrobe for those who like a bit of security with their items.
The bathroom has underfloor heating, the bath is quite wide and there is a separate shower so all bases covered there. There are two sinks so you can pile up your stuff on one side and your partner can have the other half..
The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful.
We had breakfast included in our booking, the breakfast room is large and you will be waited on by pleasant staff who will take your order from the menu.
There is so much history in the halls of this building, with paintings and photographs everywhere. Worth staying here alone just to see them.

The location and setting were excellent. The breakfast hall and breakfast choices were amazing (though be prepared to wear a coat! It is an old hall and in winter chilly). Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were excellent and so clean.

Easy to spot in the centre of the city.
Easy to spot in the centre of the city. Stunning architecture and a glorious Lady Chapel. Only down side was two very noisy dogs. However, good to see that pet owners could enjoy this beautiful building.

I actually live near Ely so I visit often.
I actually live near Ely so I visit often. The cathedral is amazing and I highly recommend visiting it but you will need plenty of time to get around it all. There are lots of performances at the cathedral so look out for those. You can have a guided tour and also a tour up the tower with fabulous views over the fens.

Location. Within 10 a minute walk to the local Co-op. Slightly longer to Ely Cathedral and market place. Modern facilities. Comfy bed. Good shower. Very clean. We had a friendly welcome from the host, Robert, who obviously genuinely cared that our needs were met. He had good recommendations to give us and a fine local knowledge. The private parking was a real bonus. The tasty cookies were very welcome.
The location is excellent. It's practically next door to Ely Cathedral. The staff were lovely and really helpful. We got free parking at the back of the hotel.
A warm welcome to a classic country house hotel with open fires, cozy lounges, and a well-stocked bar.
We had a well-appointed, clean and comfortable room with a great shower.
The restaurant was excellent and the service was friendly and professional, we ended up eating here both nights.
The breakfast was also very good, with perfectly cooked eggs, very nice and views across to Ely Cathedral.
I am sure that we will be back, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Old Hall.
Quaint little hotel with very nice garden within walking distance of Ely cathedral. Very friendly service, rich breakfast. After a very hot week in London a lovely respite - highly recommended!
The newly refurbished Old Warehouse was a revelation, an uninspiring entrance revealed the most beautiful 2 bed apartment we have ever had the privilege to stay in. Spacious, immaculate, beautifully furnished with a view of Ely Cathedral as a bonus. Keith, the owner even fetched us milk and biscuits for a welcome cuppa on arrival.
On the main street with plenty of restaurants and shops. Excellent location, we were attending a graduation ceremony at Ely Cathedral and we're literally on the doorstep. The apartment was clean, modern and very well equipped with little unexpected extras which helped make a memorable trip. Thank you
Stunning inner courtyard with al fresco dining, that’s also great for a drink and read. Beautifully appointed rooms with good air conditioning, great shower and plenty of space. Staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The whole place feels classy and relaxed. Few minutes stroll to Ely Cathedral which you can see from the hotel dining room. The hotel kindly stored our bikes inside in a safe place. Highly recommended. Arrive early and leave late to soak up the atmosphere.
