Our super king-size room was excellent with a beautiful en-suite bathroom and free-standing bath. The view of the garden was lovely and we appreciated the welcoming and friendly greetings from the Reception staff whenever we passed. They made us feel at home from the minute we first stepped through the door.

Excellent place to stay. Owners and staff were great and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Absolutely perfect place to stay if you're on your motorbike as they have everything you would want. Fully secure off-street parking and even cleaning facilities with a jet wash to use. It was really busy for our stay but you wouldn't notice as everything worked perfectly. Nothing was any bother at all, and the team were always happy to help and advise. Don't think twice about the breakfast. It was fantastic and worth every penny. Moffat is a canny place for a wander and a few beers with plenty of choice and is a great place to use as a base to explore the area. We'll be back.

Location Brilliant as was the fresh bread and homemade jam. Lovely walks close by and shops in Thornhill only a couple of miles away. Great cottage with everything we needed. Close to the wonderful village of Durisdeer and Drumlanrig Castle and Estate.
