Staff were lovely. Room was clean, big bed, good size tv, breakfast for kids the next day was smashing value at £2.50 for all you can eat continental. Really lovely stay.

The reception staff were very helpful with any queries and, made suggestions for visiting places of interest in the local vicinity. Very conveniently located between Derby train station and Derby bus station. All the staff at the hotel went above and beyond my expectations.

Perfect location right near Derby train station and a few mins walk to the main centre. The pillows were the comfiest pillows we’ve ever had at any hotel and we’ve stayed in so many!
In general it exceeded my expectations. Neat old hotel with its own charm. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were decent (I assume they are the same every day though, so might get stale after a while).
