The Chatsworth Hotel, hotel in Eastbourne

The Chatsworth Hotel is an exquisitely restored Victorian seafront retreat, overlooking the historic pier and bandstand.

We loved the location and the view. The hotel itself is inviting from the outside, and gives a great first impression on the inside. Staff were very attentive without being invasive. Someone showed us up to our room and grabbed some little things for us to make our stay more comfortable. The rooms were spacious, and the beds super comfortable. We loved the sea view. Enjoyed the welcome drinks, again a nice little detail.

Hydro Hotel, hotel in Eastbourne

Set in award-winning gardens, Hydro Hotel features an outdoor pool, elegant restaurant and superb sea views.

Good evening meal and good breakfast. Only criticism would be inadequate support for my gluten-free partner. The GF roll supplied with the evening meal was still frozen inside; and there were no GF biscuits to go with the excellent cheese-board. These things could easily be remedied. Comfortable room and good bed.

Excellent location single room overlooking the front beautifully warm and cosy on a very, very cold November day. Sadly, due lack of staff no restaurant or lounge open but plenty of tea milk and biscuits available to help yourself in reception. Stayed just the one night to attend concert at Congress theatre and relative to price paid was excellent

Location is excellent - minutes from the seafront, short walk into town and train station. Bus stop, art gallery and Congress Theatre round the corner. Staff are courteous and helpful. As well as tea, coffee etc in the room, a complimentary choice of fruit was also available. It was very quiet. Blackout curtains were a godsend. Having a washer/dryer is very useful especially if you want to wash and dry your swimming togs and towels.
