This is a great place to stay in central Glasgow - a friendly setup, room was well appointed and clean, nice contemporary design and well ahead of other offerings at this price point
Only a few minutes’ walk from the SEC campus, the 4-star Crowne Plaza Glasgow overlooks the River Clyde. It has a leisure club with a pool and spa, as well as a maritime-inspired restaurant and bar.

This hotel probably has the most welcoming staff in the UK. The people at the reception are very warm, welcoming, happy and helpful people who are consistently good at making the guests comfortable and feel home. The cleaning/room service staff is also very helpful and polite (consistently)! The room and the bathroom were spotless clean. Clean towels, tea making facilities had been provided with tea, coffee, hot-chocolate, milk, sugar + biscuits and two water bottles (1-still, 1-sparkling). Air conditioned. TV with Internet and browser (in case if you watch YouTube instead of TV channels). Nice view from the hotel towards the river and car park area. Walking distance (along the river bank walking/cycling path) to Bavarian beer places and good restaurants. Driving into the hotel was simple and hotel guests parking was £12 per 24 hours (which is cheap in the centre of the city).
