On arrival we were warmly welcomed by our host and shown to our lovely room. The room was small but well appointed and comfortable. Perfect for our one night stay en route to Cornwall. The bar area was quaint and cosy with a lovely atmosphere. We has dinner and breakfast which were both excellent. Would definitely stay again.
Offering a garden and garden view, WILLOW RIDGE - a large country house with 3 rental rooms is located in Clutton, 15 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station and 15 km from Cabot Circus.

I stayed in the newly renovated king room with garden view (which the hostess calls the “Orchid Room”) and it was superb. She has thought of every little detail to make a guest stay wonderful.
The bed was super comfy with an electric blanket if I had needed it, and quality bed linen which matched the decor. Tea / coffee making facilities were great and the towels were soft & fluffy.
The room was spotlessly clean, nice and warm and I could control the temperature of the room myself. There were plenty of power points, USB sockets and dimmable lights if I wanted.
The bathroom was immediately next door making it feel like an en-suite.
Lisa has put together 2 informative folders; one showing all the local pubs and restaurants in the area with menus from each venue, and one of many local tourist attractions.
I had a free off-road parking space on the large driveway and the house is in a lovely quiet village overlooking the countryside.
The hostess couldn’t have been more friendly, lovely and helpful and I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.
