We loved everything about this gem of a pub: the location (right by Chepstow Castle), the quaint and quirky building, the welcome, and most of all, the exceptional breakfast.
The 3 Tuns Inn is a very welcoming place to stay, right opposite Chepstow Castle with fantastic views. The pub isn't far from the little town with plenty of cafes, shops and pubs and offers a good range of food, breakfast was AMAZING- all freshly cooked! Carl(barman) and Kelly made us feel very welcome. We stayed in Room 3 which had all you could need for your visit, with quirky old features, it was warm and the beds were comfy- just a great place to stay!
The location was second to none. Next to a car park but also next to Chepstow castle and an excellent pub (the Three Tuns). Very central Chepstow location.
The staff firstly. Caroline and Lucy were very helpful, welcoming, and professional.
The location and services are excellent. The Chepstow castle is one of the most interesting in Wales and well worth the visit. All in all great value for money.
We stayed for one night for a concert in Chepstow Castle and it was a lovely stay! Elizabeth and Rodney are kind, generous hosts and we had great conversations. They even gave us a lift to the train station when we couldn't find any taxis. The room was warm and cozy, the shower had great water pressure and the wi-fi was fast. Overall a great stay, thank you.
Beautiful location, looking out on Forest of Dean and Chepstow castle. Just a very short walk across the river to the castle, and riverside pubs and restaurants.
Fabulous location just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Chepstow. Great for local attractions, Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey and for access to Forest of Dean. A charming house furnished with antique-style furniture and lots of house plants. Brand new modern kitchen and bathroom. Very well appointed with kitchen accessories. Beds were very comfortable. Fantastic value for money.
We stayed 3 nights at the Loft. It is a superb apartment, clean and spacious, and perfectly located to explore the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley (including attractions like Chepstow Castle and Tintern Abbey) as they are only a short drive away. Although we did not meet our hosts personally, communication with them by e-mail was easy and they were really helpful. The biscuits, tea, and coffee were a nice welcome touch.
