Baloci, hotel in Birmingham

Situated in Birmingham, 1.3 km from Broad Street, Baloci features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The theme of the room Alexander was astonishing and they were immaculate and very comfortable. I really enjoyed the delicious 6 course tasting menu on the first night and breakfast in the morning. Loved the convenient location close to the Major attractions like the Edgbaston Cricket Stadium, Birmingham City Centre, High Street, Brindley Place. Private parking available at the back to top it off makes it absolutely convenient to drive down and park without any difficulty. All in all I know whenever I've to stay at a great location in Birmingham it has to be Baloci, Looking forward to return and try the Taj Mahal theme room next time.

Bloc Hotel Birmingham, hotel in Birmingham

Offering ultra-modern décor, the Bloc Hotel’s rooms are inspired by Japanese space-saving design.

Very very easy check in and an app for room control. Check in at the front door, get the app after this and then press the entrance "hay pressto" the front door opens. This is a great way as well if you are not going to be there bang on 3pm check in as you can set the air con on for you to arrive. We didn't see what the upgraded rooms, but we had the standard room. The bed was 5ft 5" wide, more than plenty of room to erm........ sound proofing came is very handy as well. Bathroom facilities are very clean and the showers are fantastic. Romantic room lighting as well 🥵.

A most important historical witness to the work of Pugin.

A most important historical witness to the work of Pugin. Sadly some of his work was badly treated in the more recent past without any reference to its history and the great architect of the House of Lords and many ideas of the Commons too, Alton Towers and his gem the Parish Church of Cheadle.
