The restaurant and breakfast area shut 3 days before we arrived . There was nowhere to get food or drinks. No one contacted us to inform the situation. We had booked for dinner and breakfast. Really poor service.

Front desk person was very helpful and polite and upgraded our room. My wife was traveling with an injured right arm on which she had surgery, ao she put us in a handicapped room. The breakfast was excellent and service was well organized. Well worth the money. We were traveling by bus to Heathrow the next morning. The location was ideal for catching the National Express bus. Price was very reasonable and we would stay again.

Cardiff Castle is an interesting place to visit as it has a small museum full of information about events relating to the castle & its history. I have also been there for music/food festival events too & both were really good. Is located within a fairly easy walk from town centre & defiantly worth a visit if you like history.

Great centrally located little hotel. Walking distance to Cardiff castle. Lots of pubs and restaurants on the street the hotel is on. Friendly staff. Large clean room.
A very nice hotel in central Cardiff. Downtown attractions were right at our doorstep, including Cardiff Station, shopping, nightlife, and Cardiff Castle. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and bathroom. Thick walls kept our stay peaceful. We had a couple issues with our room (phone jack didn't work, clogged sink) and the staff fixed them right away. Moreover, the thermal spa was invigorating and well worth the extra charge. I would stay here again!
The hotel is in town and very close to parking. There was a reduced fee for daily parking. The room was very comfortable and clean. Check-in was quick and easy.
We were able to visit Cardiff Castle by just walking, as well as the shops.
Five minute walk from the train you arrive at a modest looking hotel which is ten minutes away from Cardiff Castle and a few meters away from the bustling city center.
The rooms were perfect, so quiet ,well designed, clean, modern with everything you need including coffee/ tea and biscuits. The bed was so comfy!!!!
