Camden Market

This bustling night market sprang up to serve the crowds visiting a nearby temple. Today its stalls overflow with tantalising local delicacies, from fresh butter crabs and eel stew to rice noodle soup brimming with shrimps and pork. Don’t miss Keelung’s sweet speciality, paopao – snow-like shaved ice smothered with fresh fruit jam.

Ghastly, full of the most awful tourist tat and crowded too.

Ghastly, full of the most awful tourist tat and crowded too. One of the worst markets in the world. This market used to be full of original sellers and stalls and unfortunately it full of rubbish imported from the far east. Nothing like it used to be and since the fire it has changed beyond recognition.

This was recommend by a friend to go there... so glad I did.

This was recommend by a friend to go there... so glad I did. We stoped in for brekfast... do this! I'm an early riser, so I found it tricky to find places open for breakfast when I wanted... but on sat morning I went here and vola! open... and choices... and I think the best for I had in London I tasted here. Good prices, huge choice and you can back a visit here off another 'day trip' of London.

It's a must for culture, music, food and shopping Very easy to get lost in and very easy to be tempted spend to much. I love camden not just for the market but because it's full of different sub culture's, music styles/fashion, foods and entertainment

This place is an amazing little city on its own.

This place is an amazing little city on its own. It seemed to go on forever with entrances everywhere to other areas. I'm sure if I went & spent the whole day there I still wouldn't have seen it all. Brilliant place to go. Loved it.

    Incredible! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Incredible! LOVE THIS PLACE! Many, many fun shops and foods available ~ Just amazing as well - Hawley Arms is just across the street! Just great fun and one of my favourvite spots to catch pint of Cameden Hells - and a pint of chips by the fireplace! AMAZING and full of Rock & Roll History - not to leave out Amy Winehouse's fav hangout - can't hurt! Even the bathroom stalls were entertaining! Much love - C'ya real soon ~ the manager is spectacular ~ Don't leave without stopping by here for a pint! Cheers! And, yes, Camden Market Rocks!

Nice apartment which has everything you need. Location wise it’s just perfect. Five min walk to the bus or metro station. Very close to the Camden market. And even walking distance to the international train St.Pancras station. Special thanks for a big amount of coffee capsules.

The location is great, close to Camden Market, shops and good cafes, underground and bus stops. I only stayed one night so I didn't see much of the building but what I saw was good and it seemed safe to me.

The location is perfect for visiting the Roundhouse as it's around 100m door to door. We arrived into Marylebone and walked around Regent's Park, then ended up in Little Venice and took a narrow boat to Camden Market where we mooched around and got food. A short stroll to the hotel, then crossed the road to the gig. On Sunday morning we found Primrose Hill just a short walk away, then again wandered through Regents Park and back to the station.

  • Go on the weekdays!

Go on the weekdays! I went to Camden Market on a Saturday (BIG mistake), so I went back again on a Wednesday and it was lovely. The only downside is that some sellers are more inclined to try and convince you to buy their wares since there aren't as many people.
