The staff were friendly, helpful, and chatty. The manager even offered to assist us with New Years transport if we were stuck. She also allowed us to change rooms as we didn't want to be on the busy A6.
The bedroom room 1 was quite cosy with nice lighting, and the views were pleasant when sat in bed.
The homecooked food was nice, especially the chunky chips and veg.
