Babbity Bowsters, hotel in Glasgow

Featuring a terrace, a restaurant as well as a bar, Babbity Bowsters is set in the centre of Glasgow, less than 1 km from Glasgow Cathedral.

We spent a long weekend at Babbity Bowster. The rooms are clean, silent, lovely and well equipped. Even if they are a bit small, there is everything you need. The staff is kind and always available for a chat, a beer and a snack also late in the night coming back from a concert. Breakfast is good with fresh fruit and yogurt as well while if you desire, you could taste the "cooked" one, however we were not so brave but it seemed appetizing. We had also a dinner, very good, delicious main courses and appealing starters. It is not so rare having the chance to listen to good music either violinists or a jazz orchestra. So if you are looking for a place which might take your heart, this place, the atmosphere, the music and the kindness and friendliness of staff it's for you. .

Worth a stroll down as it is a pedestrian walkway down to Argyle street.have a ride on the Glasgow Subway at St Enochs (bottom of Buchanan street, cross over Argyle Street, you will see the Subway entrance )this is a circular railway,a bit noisey but an experience never the less. The rock structure under Glasgow is very hard and i think that was the reason for not extending the system to outside districts

We always use Point A when staying in Glasgow as it is a short walk from the bus station and only 2 streets away from a good Wetherspoons for cheap meals and drinks. It is also in a great location for Sauchiehall Street, Buchanan Street and the railway stations. Staff are VERY helpful and they have a good luggage room to leave your luggage in on the day of departure. There is everything you need in the room, including good lighting and plenty of sockets

A fabulous central location close to Buchanan Street and George Square. The AirPort Express bus is on the parallel street which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and informative. Breakfast had a wide variety of food including the option to order in addition to the buffet selection. The view from the restaurant was of the stunning roads and rooftops of the city centre! Waxy O’Connor’s pub was right next door which was a nice way to end each night.
