The restaurant delivered a good choice of straightforward dishes very well executed by the chef; flexible in dietary issues; prompt and efficient table service; good with diners bringing their dogs; a decent wine list; no fuss, relaxed.
All rooms were very clean, warm and comfortable. A second armchair in the double bedroom would have been ideal.

The room was clean and well stocked. The bathroom was very small but functional. The bed was a good size. Nespresso coffee maker and 4 capsules. Fridge with complimentary water. There could have been more room as we booked an Exec King but we managed. The staff were very friendly - Roger was extremely helpful on reception. The restaurant was excellent - the food was delicious and a lovely lady on the Friday night helped us move our booking from Leo's to Marco Pierre White's for the Saturday as it was so good. Breakfast was good too. Location was very handy - £11 for a cab into Oxford. And a 5 minute drive to Oxford parkrun.

A lovely small guesthouse/hotel. Great location just 10 minutes by public bus from city centre and bus stops just outside the hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Let us drop off our bags ahead of check-in, then left to our room when ready. Had a room with 3 single beds and it was very spacious for 3 adults. Beds comfortable, warm room, great shower and the bath towels were large and fluffy. Breakfast had good choice and breakfast room very clean and bright.

We visited Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, Diddly Squat Farm over the weekend. All within easy reach.
The cottage was beautiful. Excellent location, within walking distance to the village and easy driving distance to Diddly Squat Farm, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Blenheim Palace. The cottage itself was absolutely spotless, and it had everything we needed and more. All the little touches were very much appreciated. Highly recommend staying here if visiting Chipping Norton or surrounding areas. You certainly won't be disappointed.
The house was clean, welcoming and had all the amenities u could need, a real home from home! The decor was beautiful! It was in a great location for us wanting to visit Diddly squat farm and Blenheim palace, plus to explore the Cotswolds! The hot tub was a lovely addition to our stay! We had a lovely meal in the local pub which was great and a short walk away!
The staff are friendly and helpful, stopping to chat and give advice on the area. The location is great, with a 20 minute drive to the Wildlife Park, Blenheim Palace and The Motoring Museum. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, along with being able to shop for everyday items, so you won't need to worry if you forget anything. The pub itself is great, with nicely presented rooms that are regularly cleaned and fresh towels provided throughout the stay. Well priced place and welcoming, with a good selection of drinks to try.
Perfect location for an event at Blenheim Palace and visiting the Cotswolds. Beautiful location with horses and chickens roaming close by. Had a very enjoyable stay. The fresh eggs and milk in the fridge was a very thoughtful addition. Owners have thought to include everything you might wish for while away, hairdryer, ironing and laundry supplies etc. Would definitely recommend and come again.
Beautiful quintessential country Inn with rooms , lovely sleepy hamlet location , although we used it as a base to travel to Blenheim Palace it would make for a superb romantic break too. Credit also to the lovely Anna who looked after our check in / check out nothing too much trouble and great advice for the local area.
Great location exploring Oxford, Cotswold, Blenheim Palace, Stratford-upon-Avon etc... Lovely cottage with loads of character, tastefully decorated and all the facilities you'll need. Perfect for a short stay for a couple or small family with plenty of pubs, resturarants and a cinema near by should the weather be against you!
Check in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and a nice selection of teas, coffee and biscuits in the room.
It was in a great location to all the places we wanted to visit in the local area including Diddly squat farm shop, blenheim Palace and surrounding towns.
A good value for money place to stay for a couple of nights.
The cottage is finished to an exceptional standard and the welcome-pack was much appreciated as well.
Michael is a superb host who was eager to ensure our stay was the best it could be. He gave us good advice about Blenheim Palace as well.
The location is a livery / equine training school and the staff were more than happy to show my wife around the horses and ponies. She really enjoyed this. Thank you.
