Hotel Du Vin Newcastle, hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne

This Hotel Du Vin is located in central Newcastle, with breathtaking views over the quayside and the River Tyne. It offers luxurious accommodations a few minutes’ walk from Manors Rail Station.

The staff was just lovely -- welcoming, warm, and went above and beyond to help me at check-in after a very cold bike ride to the hotel. The bar is festive and the barman, Jack, was friendly and super interesting to talk with. To top it all off, the claw foot bathtub in my room was unexpected and exactly what I needed to warm up after the cold winter ride and the big soft dog bed was definitely enjoyed by my small travel companion.

Interesting to see the building but disappointed by the exhibitions that were on when we visited (just our luck that the weekend we were in Newcastle the theme just wasnt our cup of tea). Lots of families with young children and can see the attraction - lots of space with areas for them to play and draw etc
