Everything! The hotel was charming and in a great location! The hotel staff was kind and accommodating from check in until check out. I loved the hotel and its warm vibe. The room was perfect and I slept like a baby. I will most certainly return!

Location! It’s perfect in the Latin Quarter and charming and the personnel were so kind and thoughtful. Whenever I’m in Paris this will be my go-to place to say. It’s close to Notre Dame and you can hear the bells. Loved my room, too.

Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs is in a good neighborhood with services, public transport, & close to some fun shopping. It’s a walkable distance from the Luxembourg Gardens, from Le Bon Marché department store. You can use the metro to get to the Musée D’Orsay & Louvre, but I walked & felt very safe.
The hotel had a luxury boutique feel with dark woods, plush carpet, brass fittings, & quiet efficient service. I found breakfast a bit high in cost, but for those families or groups of friends traveling together it was a nice way to meet up in the morning. Our first day had a little drizzle & the doorman offered us umbrellas to borrow.
There is a delicious little patisserie across the street from the metro that has good bread, patisserie, lunch items, & baked gifts. The box of chocolate Eiffel towers was a much fought over souvenir.

Make sure to schedule your visit while the park is still open. There is as schedule on their website (it depends on the seasons). Before closing doors they throw people out with extremely rude guards with very annoying whistles.

Get here early to experience the garden with only the locals running through and before the crowds arrive. Spent time sitting at the pond and watch the little sailboats. Take a simple picnic and find a beautiful corner to sit and soak up the vibe. Well worth a visit!

The hotel staff was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and super helpful the entire stay. The location is supreme - a metro station just across the street, and the beautiful Luxembourg gardens just a stone's throw away. There were also a number of restaurants within close walking distance.
The great location is a huge plus with this hotel. I loved walking through the Luxembourg Gardens nearby and it's close to so many great restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was superb. Special thanks to Eric who greeted us at check in and was so kind and helpful!

The location of the property is ideal for restaurants, shopping and activities. It has classic French charm. Walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens. The breakfast is excellent and the bathrooms are modern with big, functioning showers. We stayed in a Deluxe Double and there was ample room for two people. The only complaint would be that the closet was very small
