This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were so professional and just wonderful and helpful, particularly one woman who worked in reception, I wish I could remember her name,…she kind of just brightened the day with her energy. It also helped that many of the front desk staff spoke English because my French vocabulary is minimal.
The location was within walking distance of several major attractions and close to transportation.
The room itself was very comfortable and quiet.
One of the nicest touches is that they have a complimentary snack and soft drink bar with a large selection of chips, nuts, candies and pastries every day from 2pm until past midnight.
The breakfast was so great with so many choices! They have eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurt, granola, cereal and some of the most delicious bakery I’ve ever had!

Louvre Museum
Away from the adoring crowds that gather in front of the glass-encased and untouchable vision of the Mona Lisa, the Louvre is a rich treasure trove of artistic gems. Corridors run above and below ground for such a distance that it would take you over 100 years to spend just 30 seconds in front of every masterpiece here.

I reccomend for pictures go across the way where the park is ( go towards the golden statues) there is a pretty empty place where you can stand high enough for the iconic holding the Louvre by the top.

We visited the Louvre on a Thursday in July. We pre-purchased tickets on the website with an entry time of 10:00 AM, and barely waited 5 minutes outside before getting in. Definitely recommend an early entry time!

Art feast. Great value.
Art feast. Great value.
Unfortunately, there are no Chinese exhibits. There is a hard-to-find pavilion called "African, Asian, and American Art", but only a small amount of totem art from the South Pacific Islands. Is this a deliberate "cultural shielding"?

The Louvre Museum is a timeless treasure trove of art and history, captivating visitors with its vast collection and iconic architecture. Home to thousands of works of art, including the famous Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, the museum offers a journey through the ages, from ancient civilizations to the Renaissance and beyond.
Stepping into the Louvre is like stepping into a world of beauty and wonder. Its grand halls and galleries are filled with masterpieces that have inspired artists and art lovers for centuries. Each piece tells a story, offering a glimpse into the minds and cultures of the past.
Beyond its art collection, the Louvre's architecture is a work of art in itself. The stunning glass pyramid, designed by architect I.M. Pei, serves as a modern entrance to this ancient institution, symbolizing the museum's role as a bridge between the past and the present.
A visit to the Louvre is not just a visit to a museum—it's a journey through time and a celebration of human creativity. It's a place where the wonders of the world come together, creating an unforgettable experience for all who enter its hallowed halls.

This museum is much bigger than I expected.
This museum is much bigger than I expected. There is so much to see here you could spend multiple days exploring it all. We got tickets for the second entry of the day, which was perfect. We were able to get up to the ropes at the Mona Lisa, did that first before all the crowds. That floor is almost impossible to get around later in the day. The 2nd floor had way less crowds and so many artifacts and art. Even the kids (12 & 14) were impressed by it all!

Don’t waste time and money eating at the sit down restaurant on the main floor. The food was overpriced and disgusting. Service was pleasant- but it was the first (and only) time a server asked if I wanted to leave a tip and asked how much of one I planning to leave. I like being able to add an amount to the paper receipt or touch screen without being asked to/amount.
My husband and I spent most of the day here and we loved the extensive display of art. I would say follow a plan to see the masterpieces you’re interested in and enjoy the other pieces in between/on the way.

The place was good close to everything, cafe, restaurants, subway or metro station, and Louvre Museum. The hosts was very nice, just sent her message and she responds right away.
The apartment was very near to two main metro stations and the best thing was it was 5-6 minutes walk to Louvre Museum. The neighborhood was nice and we could easily go ar night. The staff was so helpful and always helped us so I would like to thank them for that. There is an electronic heater inside so eventhough everywhere was so cold we were not cold in the apartment. Everything was really clean and beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed one. It was a great Paris experience.
The location was unbeatable. Space was good. Price for the location and the 3 bedroom apartment was reasonable. groceries, restaurants, taxis, Uber Louvre museum was few steps away
The location is perfect! 10mins walk to Louvre Museum and a lot of good restaurants and shops around. Facilities are very good as you can find all necessities in the room and the hotel. Breakfast offers variety of choices and there is complimentary drinks and snacks as well.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, close to public transportation and restaurants. You can walk to Louvre Museum and Lafayette Galleries. They speak Portuguese which is great for Brazilians. We went with our son and they gave a special attention on check-in. Our stay was very pleasant 😊

Research your options to ensure a pleasant experience. We found the botobus to be the most cost effective and enjoyable experience for a 2 1/2 day experience in Paris. If you can catch the last run of the evening on the botobus it is well worth it. Everything is lite up. Plan your trip to the Louvre when the are open late and allow for several hours. If you obtain their brochure prior to our visit you can determine the collections you want to ensure you see and if time permits you can explore even more. Notre Dame is a must see. There is no cost to see this wonder. Be sure to where good walking shoes. Even though Paris is a city of fashion, to really see what Paris has to offer you need to get down and explore.
