Very responsive and engaged staff and owners. We were coming with a 2 year old kid, and they offered themselves a bed , even though we were absolutely fine with sleeping together.
Location is very strategical, near many interesting hiking routes and points of interest.
The hotel itself is newly renovated and the lounge is very sweet, we enjoyed the French comics and playing area.
Dinner was tasty, a bit salty for my taste, but nothing disappointing.

Very good location to start the Tour de Vanoise. The manager was very nice as our bags were delayed so we would not arrive at the hotel until 1:00am and we were able to call and they gave us the code to get into the hotel.

Hôtel Le Commerce is just in front of Modane Bus and SNCF Train Station, where guests can take a shuttle to Valfréjus ski resort. It offers soundproofed rooms serviced by a elevator and free Wi-Fi.
