We arrived quite late and the proprietor very kindly got us the last table for dinner seemingly in the whole town. There is no restaurant in the property itself (although they do a decent breakfast) - there is a very pleasant bar with a very friendly mountain dog. The room itself was very clean and the furnishings comfortable and appropriate to the price.

This is a traditional ski/mountain hotel set in the high Alps. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well-equipped and comfortable. Despite the formal restaurant being shut, we were treated to a set, three course meal of a very high standard, delicious. So good, we will return when the restaurant is available.

Breakfast, room, facilities and staff were all superb.
Hôtel Le Commerce is just in front of Modane Bus and SNCF Train Station, where guests can take a shuttle to Valfréjus ski resort. It offers soundproofed rooms serviced by a lift and free Wi-Fi.
