Really nice hotel with great facilities, especially like the pool and restaurant areas
Logis Des Trois Massifs is located in Claix, 10 kilometres south of Grenoble. It has an outdoor swimming pool and is just 500 metres from the River Drac.

The hotel is easy to find with ample free parking available. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The manager was concerned about the safety of our motorcycles and insisted that we move them to rear of the hotel to reduce the risk of them being stolen. The rooms are large, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The restaurant serves excellent food and is good value. The hotel makes a great base to explore Grenoble, Vercors and the Rhône Alps.
Located opposite the water centre and casino, Hôtel Le Dauphin offers guest rooms with a TV, and access to a garden and terrace. The shuttle to the ski lift is also directly across the street.

The hotel is rather grand in appearance, and inside it is also very grand-looking. Built in the late 1800's and very well appointed. The gentleman who checked us it was fantastic, and also doubled as the barman when we asked for a beer before it was really beer o'clock. There was a covered garage to park the motorcycles, and the surrounding gardens were very lovely. It was too cold and wet (late June!) to fully appreciate them. The town is busy and has many restaurants and shops. Primarily a skiing resort, the town seems to close quite early in the summer, and we found the restaurant we had selected had already closed when we got there (this is not mentioned as a reflection on the hotel, but as a guide for fellow travellers). The hotel was very comfortable.
