The hotel is located in a peaceful town near Chamonix, just by the train station, which is free. The views from the hotel are spectacular and majestic. The staff was amazing and helped us with many questions, and gave us extra amenities for free!
The spa is nice and is prebooked so it's private although small.
The hotel itself is cosy and the rooms are comfortable with a renovated bathroom.
The restaurant was great and had a relatively cheap menu dinner which was delicious.
Pool was great fun.

All of the ski resorts and lifts in the valley are worth trying. Pick one based upon the weather conditions. You can ski in the valley floor or up to about 12,000 feet. Definitely travel up Brevent lift so that you can see the para-gliders take off from the mountain.
