Perfect location in Cauterets, Hotel Le Boud Joli is comfortable and very welcoming. Our room overlooked the pretty town and mountains and it was lovely hearing the bells in the church chime. We had everything we needed, the breakfast was delicious and it was a charming base for walking to dinner or shopping. It was easy (by car) to get to many of the areas scenic lakes, waterfalls and hikes.

The location and views were wonderful. The room was small but cozy. The mural of the grizzly bear made us feel at home (we currently live in Portugal but are from Montana, US)!

Gorgeous.
Gorgeous. We were really happy that we took the gondola and chair lift to the top. We still had a nice walk and saw on the way down how steep of a hike it would have been. I think our visit was much better we weren't exhausted when we got there.
