We really liked the location of the hotel, with direct access from the lobby to the city center. The hotel lobby was spacious and vibrant, creating a great first impression. The staff at the ski room and concierge were extremely friendly and accommodating, as were the drivers who took us around the city. ESF (Ecoles Ski France?) is the major ski school in Les Trois Vallees. We had our 5-year old son in the programme (group lesson) for 10 days. Even at the end of the 1st day, we were incredibly impressed. He did not know how to stop, turn or control his skis before that. By the middle of his lessons (he skied half-days) he was able to ski red/"difficult" rides with the rest of the family (he has three teenage siblings who were all previously on ski teams). We interacted with a number of different ski instructors from ESF and they were all very good. If you want your child to learn to ski, use ESF only.
