The location was good, the room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Valet parking was useful. We only stayed for one night and arrived late. Cot provided as well as a soft fluffy towel for the baby.

Lovely small hotel on the edge of town in a residential area but only 10 minutes from Chateau Chambord, the reason for our stay. Staff very helpful. Breakfast on the terrace and a big choice of good quality. Room on the smaller size but good bathroom with large walk-in shower. Would recommend.

Bee lodge is fairly new and was immaculate, clean and the staff were all very helpful. It is well placed to walk into the old quarter and for those travelling by rail it is adjacent to the station. Underground secure parking was perfect. Breakfast was very good.

Excellent price quality relation. Good parking for the car. Very convenient location within the city of Blois (10 minute walk from the Blois castle), which in turn is a gateway for the Loire Castles region. Nice breakfast.

it was a family suit in the amazing old building, decorated in a great way. Windows were looking at the Blois castle, and we had a feeling that we were living in the castle itself. we had an amazing breakfast there, and host was very welcoming and attentive.

So it was with La Forge du Roy. It seemed from the beginning that it is a nice and neat space but, I assure you that when you come here you will be surprised! A historic building right next to Blois Castle, RIGHT NEXT. Our room was full of authentic things and so atmospheric you felt like you were traveling hundreds of years back in time!
Very nice classic French style hotel, just one step away from the Blois castle and tourist area. The decoration easily takes you back into the magnificence of Renaissance Kings (& Queens) from bedroom to breakfast lounge and reception hall.
A must booking if you want to add up some magical historical touch for a short stop-over stay in Blois.
The croissants at breakfast were just...perfection.

Room, breakfast and dinner were all excellent ... I wish to particularly thank the staff (Marie to give a precise name) who were so helpful to send me back very quickly my laptop power connector which I had forgotten in my room. Finally, the location of the hotel is also great which adds a lot to its attractiveness since I was only 15 minutes walk from the Blois castle where my conference was held.
