We really enjoyed the scene in the evenings by the Cathedral...
We really enjoyed the scene in the evenings by the Cathedral. There was always music and one night an amazing breakdancing contest was going on. It was so cool to see this "new" dancing in front of such an ancient and historical place. We also were wowed by the tombs of King Fred and Queen Isabela!

paid the 6€ for entry at the door. Inside you scan a QR and this gives you an audio of the various areas inside the cathedral. they are a bit long for me so I listened a bit and moved on. Each areas is numbered so you know you are listening and looking at the right part. impressive. 2 organs and an extravagant nave.

Preferred the outside to the inside.
Preferred the outside to the inside. The best part was the Capella Reale (separate entrance outside, queue and admission fee) which contains the royal tombs of the catholic Kings/Queens and lots of interesting info about their taking over the city from the Moorish King Boabdil in the C15th.

Understandably so, The Chapel of the Catholic Kings does not allow photography within, so be prepared to soak up as much as you can so you can reminisce later. It was quite an impressive cathedral and final resting place for the Ferdinand and Isabella.

The outside is stunning but you have to be a big fan of Baroque architecture to appreciate all the fol-di-rol cherubs, gold leaf and general over-the-topness of the interior. They could have done with a few more statues here and there......

This place is incredible.
This place is incredible. And it is so huge that you could literally put Notre Dame inside one wing of it... no joke. Book your ticket in advance (in the summer two days was enough), because they have a visitor limit.
You will need a lot of time to take in the large amount of things to see throughout this sprawling building. Don´t forget to go up in the tower - you cannot get a better view of the city.
The audio tour is good, but very long-winded. We were better off with our own materials. The signs, as usual in Spain, are often lacking and usually only in Spanish.

Our room was on the highest floor. We saw the church and sunset on the balcony, it was really beautiful. That scene is one of my most unforgettable moments in my Spain trip.
The location is great, it's less than 10 minutes by foot to the Gates of Justice, Granada Cathedral, and Plaza de Santa Ana. The room was clean and comfortable. The super-friendly and helpful host.
Spacious and very clean apartment with a big and comfortable bed. Super close to main attractions such as Granada Cathedral, Albaicin neighborhood (it's on the lower part of Albaicin), and Alhambra. Well connected by public transport (bus) and there are several restaurants and tea houses (teterías) nearby. We had some time in Granada after check-out and were able to leave our luggage in another hotel for a couple of hours.
The hostel is very close to Granada Cathedral (right beside it). They offer a very good breakfast and the dorm has a spacious bathroom. All the staff were nice and had good recs.
