The staff at Hotel Helen Berger is EXCELLENT. Very efficient, helpful, capable, and friendly. They really made us feel at home.
Our room was well appointed, very clean and quiet.
We loved the location. Off the main streets so it was quiet, but just a block or two from the main streets and "the action". Very convenient.
Breakfast was excellent. A wonderful selection on the buffet and a really good selection of kitchen-prepared items such as eggs, omelets, etc.
The real surprise? The hotel bar/restaurant is FANTASTIC. Wonderful serving staff, and the food was excellent. We usually don't eat in hotel restaurants because they usually aren't that good, but this one was so good we ate there two of the four nights we stayed.
We love "boutique" hotels. We go out of our way to choose them. Hotel Helen Berger is one of the best we've ever stayed in. We will definitely be back, and I encourage others to give it a try as well!
