Staying at Kato Waidi Nubian Resort added a beautiful touch to my amazing stay in Aswan. The resort is peaceful, well-located, and beautifully designed. All the staff are incredible, and the manager quickly helped me recover a pair of sunglasses I left on the bus. Highly recommend!

The hotel was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and courteous. They ensured that refreshments and amenities were always available. The view was beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the atmosphere in the evenings.
The hotel organized a gathering that brought together locals and guests, featuring Nubian music and dancing. It was an amazing experience with an intimate and very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were respectful and went above and beyond to ensure the guests' comfort.
The bed and linens were very comfortable.
The hotel also arranged trips to various attractions by boat and car, and you could take a camel ride into the desert directly from the hotel.
The location was excellent, right next to the bazaar but still peaceful and private. There was also an ATM located right in front of the hotel.
I initially booked the hotel for a few nights but extended my stay because I enjoyed it so much. They even upgraded my room to a larger one with a private terrace and a stunning view of the river!
I also really appreciated the beautiful paintings and decorations, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
I dined at the hotel every day, and the food was absolutely incredible – fresh and flavorful! I highly recommend this place; it offers excellent value for money.

This hotel is a wonder! Located on a small island near Aswan, decorated in a traditional nubian way, you will enjoy a true moment of peace while being there. The hotel has your back to facilitate your stay. In particular, we would like to thank Khaled the receptionist who helped us a lot organize our stay: everything went easy and smooth, the pick-up for the trip to Philae, the taxi to the Nubian museum and the return to the hotel. Thanks! In addition, the food at the restaurant is great. Finally, our room was beautifully decorated.
Nice place to stay. David and his family make you feel at home. The location is not in the center but the neighbourhood is ok, very local. The Nubian museum is 35 min and Embarkment to Philae is 50 min walking. Supermarket , pharmacy etc very close. David organized our tour to Abu Simbel at a very fair price. I definitively recommend this hostel 😀.
Nice location across from Nubian museum. A bit of a walk to the unfinished obelisk but good exercise. It looked closer on the map but the streets are not straight through.
The restaurant to top notch for breakfast and dinners. Incredible selections and quality of food. The restaurant staff was very friendly.
