The biggest challenge is the people hustling you constantly…. And ripping you off as much as possible.

Get there before 8am and the place will be yours to walk around. The Sphinx entrance no longer allows you to go right up close to it. They have fenced it off. They encourage you to take a camel up the hill. The pyramid entrance is possibly best for those who wish to take a taxi journey around all of the sights. The taxi can stop in designated areas while you see the sights, then jump in to the next one. A once in a lifetime experience.

They are try to scam you even cleaners try to ask your ticket and cheat you by saying your ticket is not valid here bla bla.. just ignore them all. Do not even answer. If you want to ride horse and camel just bargain. Do not buy ticket for entering Kufru Pyramit. It is extremly expensive and nothing to see.... You just try to climb in a very very narrow tunnel in hot and humid air.

say no to all guides and sellers at the street, you can find podcast of the pyramids that explain all, and walk your way trough, my recomendation is wear your headphones so scammers wont try to engange in conversation, and dont speak to any friendly egyptian inside

Get here before the hoards of tourists arrive, early in the morning. It's hard to avoid the touts suggesting horse, cart or camel rides - just ignore them if you can. Going with a guide might help.

The pyramids are nice but the experience was a bit of a disappointment. You are hassled from beginning to end and end up concentrating more on refusing souvenirs and camel rides than you do on taking in this amazing sight. Every single person there ( from your own private guide to souvenir sellers ) seems to think you have gone there to buy a papyrus bookmark. It is frankly ridiculous and really detracts from the experience

The location is perfect for visiting the Giza Pyramids. We could see the Sphinx from our room. The hotel is very clean and well cared for. Breakfast was lovely. Most importantly every staff member was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The staff was excellent.
An exceptional stay at the hotel! The room featured a super comfortable King-size bed, with a perfectly working TV and air conditioning that made our stay very enjoyable.
The walk-in shower was a great touch for added comfort. However, the absolute highlight was the breathtaking view of the Giza pyramids, visible directly from the window. Truly a dream come true
Wonderful hotel, the service and free breakfast and water is amazing. I met the owner Gabry when I was there but I was already getting great service from the nice staff, the bellhop Made sure I was good and comfortable with fresh water everyday. I booked the suite with the great view of the Giza pyramids and I saw a nice light show from the roof of the hotel at night. I stayed here for 1 week, and the market is very close by.
It was a great hotel, It feels like home. the hotel is located in a good area everything is nearby restaurants, shops, cairo museum, nile, metro station, the room was comfortable, the food was good too and the staff was great, Alex and his comarades help me a lot during my staying there and given me good information about the city and even found me good tourist guide to visit the Giza pyramids, they deserve 10/10 from my part 💯
We love the Turquoise Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum View Hotel for its unbeatable location with stunning views of the Giza Pyramids from the rooms and rooftop terrace. The friendly and attentive staff and the hotel’s cleanliness are also frequently praised.
Room with soft beds and pillows, clean and good bathroom. Hotel in front of the Giza pyramids complex. Staff was kindness and helful. All time they offered us complimentary water bottles.
It was close to the Giza Pyramids walking distance, but the hotel itself was hard to find with the directions/address even the Taxi driver and myself had a hard time finding it on Google Maps and Apple Maps. The room was clean, water was hot and cold, the fridge was cold, the Air Conditioner worked good, I was eating falafel and kosher everyday from the local restaurant 2 minutes walking. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
