Felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Large upgraded room was nice. Green, shady outdoors was very welcome.

As its name suggests, the hotel is located right across the harbor and is about a 5-minute walk from Skagen's main street. It's quite tranquil, except for the seagulls that can be noisy; therefore, during hot weather, opening the windows isn't recommended, as the seagulls can be bothersome. That said, the hotel is well-maintained, very cozy, and definitely captures the Skagen feel. The pictures are as advertised.

Lovely breakfast with many choices, in a beautiful garden. My favorite were the delicious, freshly baked buns. Romantic place to stay, very quiet. Loved the bathrobes which were quite handy when venturing outside our room.

Location - shops / restaurants nearby and just a 3km gentle bike ride ( mostly bike track and quiet roads) to grenen. Bike hire was available from the hotel.
