Lovely old historic building and easy to get to. Good parking if you arrive in time to secure a place although it's a little pricey at €18. The hotel is located next to the main train station and about 1.5km from the town centre. There are lots of bars and restaurants close to the hotel too. Breakfast was good.

Great new room that looks like the plastic just got removed from everything, the room was spotless en looks brand new. Our room was really luxurious and the bed was extremely comfortable, also a nice big shower and some nice chairs to sit in.

The complimentary breakfast was too good. The variety of food was really amazing. Specially the warm eggs , scrambled or poche, the pan cakes , the cheese and tomato roast was too awesome. In breakfast you have exceeded my expectations.

Staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with little thoughtful touches around hotel like complimentary tea/coffee biscuits in foyer in the morning and fresh infused water & juices at reception throughout the day. Very conveniently located near city and zoo. Beds were comfy and cosy and bathroom was clean and had a nice sized bath with lots of hot water at any time. We were very pleased with all this for such a reasonable price.
Very nice hotel, right next to the zoo and in front of the Central Station Karlsruhe! Perfect for animal lovers as you can hear everything at night and feel like you're in the jungle! Pleasant to fall asleep and wake up!

Room location opposite the streetcar platforms proved to be surprisingly quiet--and the room was just perfect for a solo traveler. Fan was useful as late summer weather continued in early October. Staff responsive to request for an extra towel. Having a bar/restaurant right downstairs was also very nice. I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers and couples valuing access to central train station across the street. Also the zoo grounds are lovely (I toured them on a previous visit.)
That was an amazing experience. The hotel was above my expectations. Location is very convenient near central railway station only 7 minutes walk. There is also Zoo not far away. Rooms and bathrooms were surprisingly very spacious for such type of hotel. I definitely recommend to stay there.
An apartment is clean, spacy and full of light. It is decorated in beach style with taste and attention to details.
My family enjoyed both - the central room and the terrace. The atmosphere is quiet due to the woods that separate the main highway from that part of the neighborhood. Closest shops are within walking distance and we've used rented scooters to visit the city center and the zoo. There are many bicycle roads around the area too.
Location is very good - on 20 min walking to Karlsruhe Palace and on 10 min - to Zoo.
There was a parking place in front of the hotel. Is is free of charge on Sundays and costs 2 euro per hour from Mon-Sat.

A nice hotel near the karlsruhe zoo. Good connectivity via Trams if you travel by public transport. They have a private parking underground which costs 10euro per night and also they have a rooftop open parking space which is free of cost. There is a in-house cocktail-bar with excellent ambiance. Breakfast was excellent.
