The staff were very kind. They were very accommodating with us having a newborn baby sleeping in the room. The location was amazing - it was possible to just walk into the SPA complex though the underground parking. The breakfast and room service were also great.

It’s modern, clean, right in the middle of downtown, around the corner there are 2 great SPA facilities, although it’s tiny, but it has everything what is needed for a short stay (if you don’t plan to cook something), very nice surprise was that there were 2 umbrellas in the room left for us to use, which was very convenient as it was raining one day, also nice feature self check-in (what the title already tells you), no need to disturb people if you arrive late or leave early, overall - much recommended place to stay in the oldtown of Baden-Baden 🙂

What a fantastic family-run hotel. The welcome we received on arrival was lovely. Herr Huber was the perfect host, so kind and helpful; as were every single staff member we encountered. The room was lovely and clean, and very well presented. And what a delicious breakfast, everything was of real quality. We were sad to leave having being made so welcome - I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

The property was situated in leafy grounds, the room was luxurious, all contents of bar fridge free and replaced daily, pool was indoor with outdoor lounge area under trees, food was outstanding and the staff could not do enough for the guests, including accommodating gluten free requests.

Location was ideal for our one night stay in Baden Baden. Room was very clean and a very quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a good size and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was served in the café attached to the property. There was a good choice on offer and the personnel were very friendly and attentive.

Check in smooth and staff excellent through our stay helping with printing boarding passes and local travel info etc. Hotel is really well located, near the bus to the station, bus to funicular railway and easy walking distance for everything in the town. Lovely walk to the town museum through the park etc. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, but there are many great local bars, cafes and restaurants.

The funicular ride to the top was fun.
The funicular ride to the top was fun. The vistas from the top were well worth the time. We would recommend bringing a picnic or purchasing drinks and food at the top and enjoying the views as well as the walking/biking paths

We really enjoyed our overnight stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our ground floor room was large and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was good and we had a lovely meal sat out in the pretty garden. The location is near the Merkur funicular and we took advantage of this to go up to Merkur and walk down. It’s located uphill above Baden-Baden which we didn’t visit on this occasion but seems possible to get the bus if you couldn’t face the hill.
the location is great! we wanted to go on walks and take the train up to the Merkur. It is a short drive to the downtown area, and there are plenty of parking garages. the hotel had an awesome breakfast.
