We stayed here because we were going to an event at the LANXESS arena and as the Christmas markets were on, we couldn't find affordable accommodation with parking close to the stadium.
It's perfectly adequate if you're just looking for a no frills hotel that's just somewhere to sleep. It's clean and comfortable - if rather spartan - and much along the lines of a Budget Ibis.
The hotel is easy to access from the autobahn and offers free parking.
It is within easy walking distance of the Frankfurterstrasse SBahn station, from where it's a short direct journey to Köln-Messe, adjacent to the LANXESS arena.
The surrounding area is a fairly soulless office park/light industrial area, but that shouldn't bother you if you're just looking for somewhere to spend the night.
If you're looking for fast food, there's a KFC around the corner.
