The receptionist lady was excellent. She solved the problem of a roadblock towards Neuschwanstein, which had no diversion and no info on satnav, with clear instructions. Well done!

We only stayed one night at the Landgasthof Kirchmayer, but we absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful spot where the mountains meet the green plains dotted with cows. We were lucky enough to catch a local orchestra playing nearby.

Our hotel is located in beautiful Oberau, in the Zugspitzland, in the middle of the Loisachtal. Excellent hiking trails and cycle paths are easily accessible from our family-run hotel.
