I loved the location and the exceptional staff. I’m on my motorcycle and having a nice balcony off my room overlooking the lake was so relaxing. I walked around it after an amazing meal. You also get a free loaf of fresh bread upon checkout!

My stay at Schwarzwaldhotel Sonne in Baden-Baden was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this place was special. The location is breathtaking, with my room on the second floor offering a stunning view of the river. Despite the absence of an elevator, this was hardly an issue, as the beauty of the surroundings and the comfort of the room more than made up for it.
The staff were absolutely exceptional. They were always available, incredibly professional, and went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their friendliness and attention to detail really stood out, and I felt genuinely cared for during my entire stay.
Breakfast was a delightful experience every morning, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was such a pleasure to start my day with a wonderful meal while enjoying the peaceful, scenic view.
The room itself was impeccably clean and well-organized, with every comfort I could have hoped for. One of my favorite moments was sitting on the balcony, sipping my morning coffee, and watching the river flow by as birds chirped in the background. It was a magical, serene experience that I won’t soon forget.
If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this hotel is the perfect place. The location, the views, the service, and the cleanliness were all beyond my expectations. I’ll definitely be returning to this hotel the next time I visit Baden-Baden.

Hotel staff were gracious and hotel is well cared-for. Views are spectacular of the Rhine Valley area. Lovely short hikes available nearby. Situated in an agricultural area with the calm and serenity that goes hand-in-hand. Restaurant offers delicious menu and quiet graciousness.
