Very nice staff, clean facility and room. The spa was amazing. Great pool and 3 different saunas along with a relaxation room. Breakfast buffet was delicious too. Inner courtyard offers great secluded space for smokers too.

I used to stay in another Motel One some years ago and wanted to see if other hotels were similar to the one I stayed in Berlin. The Motel One at the Messe is in a great place, easy to access with train and by city buses, and only about 15-20 minutes walk from the Seilbahn station towards the city Zoo. The breakfast is a great spread with salty and sweet, with a comfortable terrace to enjoy your morning coffee. The room is comfortable and clean, the beds are exceptionally comfy, I haven't slept so good for a long time. It was also quiet, despite the train station being only a couple meters away, which is an added bonus!

The hotel had an excellent location, right across from Cologne Messe/Deutz train station, and it was close to the magnificent Lanxess Arena, where we came to attend a concert. It was also very close to the city center of Cologne, and within about a 20-minute walk, you can reach the city center and the famous cathedral. The hotel was very clean, compact, and small, but perfectly adequate.
Great location - we went to a concert at Lanxess Arena which was a comfortable walk from the hotel. It was also a short walk to the Messe/Deutz Bahnhof.
Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed breakfast.
The only negative experience were the birds that began singing early in the morning, prompting us to get up and close the windows, over which the hotel has no control. :-)

The rooms are very spacious and the breakfast is amazing with a lot of options. The location was perfect for us because it was only a 15 min walk to the LANxess arena.

The room was compact, but very well designed. Sink was easy to access, I always had space, and could even use the table and stool for a comfortable time at my laptop. It had AC, but I never needed it, despite how hot the outside was. Also had a TV, but I never used it. A 5 minute walk from the hotel was a tram station that I could use to get to the Lanxess Arena or deeper into the city, and the whole neighbourhood was relatively quiet. Everything was clean.
Location was great. Walking distance from Lanxess Arena. Bus stop very near( 4 minute walk) will take you to the Messe/Deutz train station. Great Bakery Mauel about 7 minute walk. The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly. Fast check in and check out. Vending machines for snacks and drinks.
