There are a couple of Motel One branches near Hauptbahnhof in Stuttgart. This one is located along Lautenschlagerstraße. We made reservation through booking.com. Email confirmation received immediately, we were well received upon arrival and allowed to check in a few hours early which was great. Payment was processed upon arrival as well. Express check-out available. As is luggage storage if needed.
Lobby area at this Motel One is really nice. Plenty of seats to lounge and relax as well as a nice bar if you fancy a round of drinks before going out. They do breakfast on the ground floor as well. Hotel location is convenient for those arriving or needing to depart from Hauptbahnhof which is around 8-10 minute walk from here. You are just outside a S-bahn underground entrance as well. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in this area of the city as well.
Note rooms at Motel One are fairly basic. A bit small space but manageable if your luggage isn't oversized. Our room had a small desk, space to hang a few clothing items. Bed fairly comfortable, heating, lighting, TV and wifi all worked just fine. Bathroom has enough space, shower worked just fine. Room includes a safe. In short, they get the basics right with the room but otherwise its a no frills setup, convenient and suitable if you really just need a place to sleep and keep your luggage while in Stuttgart.
