The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the mountain. The fact that there was construction opposite to the hotel killed the view a bit. The breakfast spread is fairly the same across most European hotels but the lack of baked beans in tomato sauce (which is a staple in all European breakfasts) surprised me!
Set on a scenic hill and the only hotel in the newly founded Black Forest Nature Park, Nationalpark-Hotel Schliffkopf features elegant, country-style rooms with great views.
